America letter # 15. Easter.

Dear friends,

I have started writing poems after a professor asked whether I did it, so I thought I could write this letter as poem. (I lack inspiration to write normal letters, so I must try some alternative. Translating a poem is more difficult than a letter, so it might not be as good as I had hoped.)


Easter

Christ is risen!
indeed
can you believe it?

It is quite intense
from Lent to Easter
snap
in a few hours
where was the transition?

Three days
but we cannot wait any longer
from Good Friday to Easter Sunday
where was Holy Saturday?

Lenten personality
perhaps I am violet
more than white
happy Easter?
